SKILL IN TORPEDO ATTACKS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 11. .The part he played in successful torpedo attacks from the air have earned official recognition for Flight-lieutenant P. K. Mojnihan, R.N.Z.A.F., formerly of Wellington, who has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, according to advice received by tho Air Department, Wellington. Tho citation states that Moynihan lias taken part in successful torpedo attacks during which he scored at least two hits. Last January he took part in an attack on a convoy off Lister. He delivered a successful attack, and then went to the protection of the bombers which were attacking a large enemy vessel. His fine fighting tactics and courage played no small part in this operation. At all times he displayed initiative, skill, and courage of a high order. His father is Mr W. J. Moynihan, of Nelson.
