REHABILITATION OFFICERS
APPOIHTMENTS TO VARIOUS CENTRES (Special.) WELLINGTON, March 1. • 'The names of rehabilitation officers in various centres were 'announced'/'today by the Minister of Rehabilitation (Mr V. F. Skinner). These are: M. Simmohds, as. district rehabilitation officer, Auckland; F. CM. Hay, to Dunedin; and A. D. Rowse, to Nelson. The Minister added that'oth.er appointments had been made, but .owing to staff, difficulties in the offices from which they were being transferred they had not yet been able to take up their new work. Mi* Hay is a returned serviceman of this war, having served for 2J years in the Middle East. Before joining the Hud N.Z.E.F., Mr Hay .was with the Social Security Department as' assistant inspector at Wellington; and before that he was a member of the staff of the Labour Department. He is a professional accountant by examination. ' "-' "I hope," added the Minister, "that we will. be able to arrange for the transfer of men who are being appointed to other district offices in the near future, and as soon as this - has been done their names will be announced."
