RAILWAY STRIKE SETTLED
PERTH, February 29. The H hours' strike of the Western Australian engine drivers has been settled, and the men returned to work to-day. , The engine drivers ceased work bemuse of "a dispute about taking the Garrat tvpe locomotives through the 1 100 ft Swan View tunnel, 14 miles from Perth An engine driver was killed recently by fumes in the tunnel.
