LOSS OF LIFE LOW
(Rec. noon.) LONDON, Jan. 26. The three hospital ships which the German bombers attacked off Anzio were well outside the invasion zone*, says Reuter's Algiers- correspondent, quoting an official statement. One was sunk, but the loss of life was low. All three ships were lighted and carried lied Cross markings. The survi/ors paid tribute to the rescue work of. Allied naval men.
