CALENDAR FOR NEXT SESSION Four'criminal cases are set down for trial at the session of the Supreme Court at Duned'in, which will open before Mr Justice Kennedy next Tuesday. One prisoner. will appear for sentence. There is a small civil list, including one action for trial before the judge and a jury of 12, three other actions before tfhe judge alone, and a lis* of eight divorce petitions. The calendar is as follows: CRIMINAL. For sentence: Alfred Leonard Lewis, 19 charges of breaking and entering and one charge of attempted breaking and entering. . For trial: James Thomas Lorraine McFarlane and Frederick Harold Pagel, alleged shopbreaking and theft. Leslie James Ashwell, alleged shop-'breaking and theft. James Ernest Gullen, alleged wilfully committing a grossly indecent act. Thomas Johnston Bell, alleged negligent driving of a motor vehicle, causing bodily injury to persons. ' ■ / CIVIL. Before the judge and jr*ry of 12: Joseph Andrew Whaston v. Ronald Sutherland, claim for loss of earnings or remuneration through alleged wrongful termination of agreement, and claim for £363 17s Id damages for alleged breach of agreement. Before the judge alone: The Public Trustee, as executor of the will of Mary Gain, v. William ScottOroimibie, alleged faihwe to j-epay a loan of £2OO and interest thereon. Robert George Cotton v. James Henry Cotton and Cecal Herbert Cotton, dissolution of partnership, appointment of receiver, and taking of accounts.. Mary Brownlie v. The Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited, as executor and trustee of the will of James Jonn Brownlie, claim for £I.OOO allegedly due under deed.
