. The. first race at Wingatui to-morrow is timed to start at 11 a.m., and at EUersiie the first race is fixed for nooh.
Treasurer is evidently in work again at Riccarton, as he has been nominated for the hurdle race to be run at Washdyke next week.
, Mr D. M. Tweedie's horses, Alpine, Bonnie Flight; and Royal Flight, are now trained by W. E. Rainbow at Riverton. / W. F. Ellis's mounts- to-morrow will include Jack o\ Lantern, Gnohill, Royal Lancer, Invulnerable, Wild Cry, and Patria. It was reported at Wingatui this morning that Battle Royal, Rawhamai, and Silver Mask will not be starters.to-morrow.
D. P. Wilson holds a strong hand in the Novice Handicap to-morrow, having Salmi. Bridgehead, Cornucopia, Girl Friend, and Prize King engaged. As they all belong to different owners they will not be bracketed.
Tn connection with to-morrow's meeting at Wiugatui a special train has been arranged for to leave Invercargill at 6.34 a.m., and on the return journey leaves Wingatui nt 4.40 p.m.. arriving at Invercargill at 8.45 p.m. Tho ordinary express trains, both from and to Invercargill, will not stop, at Wingatui.
