N.Z. FURLOUGH CONTINGENT TO BE ENTERTAINED

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. August 3. The men of the Middle East furlough contingent, witli their partners, will be entertained at a daiice in the Auckland Town Hall on Friday night by the United States Naval Operating Base here. They will be admitted on.production of their railway warrants. The formal invitation was issued to and accepted by Colonel G. J. O. Stewart, P.S.O. One hundred American sailors and their partners are also expected to attend, so that New Zealand's fighting men will have an opportunity to fraternise with them. ■■.„..
