'The Glass t Key' is an orgy of political murder,- assault and battery, in which it is claimed the three principals have never been 6een to better advantage. A particularly strong assisting cast includes Bonita Granville, Joseph Calleia, Richard Denning, Maroni Olseh, and William Bendix. The story deals with the adventures of a London stockbroker, Charles Strickland, who abandons his wife and family for a fling-in Paris and !the'Latin-Quarter. His wanderings take him to the waterfront dives of Marseilles, and finally to a coral isle in the South Seas. Strickland is vividly portrayed by George Sanders, the hero of the piece. STRAND. A triple-feature programme will be provided for patrons of the Strand in to-mor-row's cjiange. The first of the three, 'Hi Neighbour, is a feast of merriment, with Jean Parker, John Archer, Vera Vague, and Janet Beecher in the starring roles. The second is a new Republic Western, 'Sons of the Pioneers,' with Roy Rogers in the title role. Roy plays the part of a young easterner who is called to the western town of Rogers City to lead the citizens in.a fight against a gang of desperadoes. Last, but not least, on the programme is the first episode of a new serial, 'The Adventures of Smilin' Jack.' The popular screen star, Tom Brown, will appear as Smilin' Jack, and prominent roles are filled by Marjorie Lord, ' Rose Hobart, Edgar Barie, Tahan Bey, Keye Luke, and Sidney Toler.
