KISKA SHELLED BY U.S. WARSHIPS
WASHINGTON, July 10. A naval communique says: "Early on Friday morning light American.surface unite bombarded enemy positions Op Kiska for several hours. Japanese shore batteries returned the fire, but caused no damage."
