ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
DEATH UNDER AN/ESTHETIC. An inquest was opened this morning before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., acting as coroner, concerning the death of John Cowic, aged 78, of Alexandra, who died at the Public Hospital yesterday while under an anaesthetic. After evidence of identification had been given, the matter was adjourned sine die. Detective-sergeant T. Y. Hall represented the, police.
