ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS

DEATH IN HOSPITAL. An inquest was opened this morning before 'Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., concerning the death of Eleanor Bancroft Falconer, aged 54, a single woman, who died in the Hospital on Saturday, apparently from poisoning.' Evidence of identification was given by Sydney Keith Falconer, a brother of the deceased, who said that bis sister had „ been living alone in a furnished room, for some years past. Deceased had suffered from deafness all her life, and also had goitre, but had given no indication that she contemplated suicide. Witness identified the handwriting in a note produced as that of his sister. The proceedings were at this stage adjourned sine die.
