ORKNEY AND SHETLAND SOCIETY
The monthly social of the Orkney and Shetland Society was held in Unity Chambers on Saturday evening. The president (Mr .1. U. Sahisiou) gave a short address, special mention being made of Mr T. Machines, president of the St. Andrew Society, who attended as a guest. The remainder of (he evening was spent in dancing, interspersed with (lie following i(rmsßeeitalions, Miss I’eggy Johnson and Miss Noeline Bauchop, 'The winners of the movie waltz were Mr it. Bews anil. Mi-s hois Keane. Mr 0. R. Borwick acted as M.C. for the evening.
