O.F.G. HOLDER MISSING • (P.A.) WELLINGTON. October 6. The following air casualties were announced to-day:— Flight-lieutenant Anthony Malcolm Brown, missing in air operations; mother, Mrs A. M. Brown, Wellington. Pilot-officer Francis Reece, missing in air operations; father, Mr A. Reece, Green Island. Sergeant Joseph Stewart Parry, missing in air operations; mother, Mrs M. 0. Parry, Paeroa. Flying-officer James Frederick Swift, D.F.C., missing in air operations; father, Mr G. L. Swift, Invercargill. Pilot-officer Carlyle Gray Everiss, killed in an aircraft accident; wife, Mrs C. G. Everiss, Te Kuiti. Sergeant Robert Ewen Ernest Fotheringham, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed in action; mother, Mrs Fotheringham, Takapuna. Pilot-officer Richard John Minnis, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed in action; wife, Mrs R. J. Minnis, Wellington. Sergeant Walter Duncan Hamer, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed in action; father, Mr IV. H. Hamer, Marton. Pilot-officer Gordon Alan Lee Webby, previously reported seriously injured in an aircraft accident, now reported convalescing satisfactorily; mother, Mrs G. Webby, Wanganui.
