SHARE MARKET QUIET LITTLE ALTERATIONS The share market continued to be quiet at this morning’s call-ovCr on the Dunedin Slock Exchange. War Loan showed a further rise in the bid, with buyers quoting £B3. No sellers were forward at that price. The 1952-55 issues were also wanted at a slightly increased price. In banking, Nationals of N.Z. were offered at a slightly reduced rate, and practically all quotations in this section were confined .to sellers’ offers. Insurances were firm. There was a strong demand for Loan and Agency lines at late rates. Other quotations showed unaltered values. SALES REPORTED. —This Morning.— Paper Mills, £1 10s fid. Emperor Mines, 11s. —Yesterday.— National Insurance, 18s fid. Woolworths (Sydney), 18s fid. Emperor, lls. J. J. Niven (unlisted), 8s fid. TRUSTEES. EXECUTORS LTD. The directors of the Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company, in their annual report,'State that the profit and loss account shows a net profit for the year of £2,500 12s fid, to which has to be added the balance of £1,285 16s lid from last year, making a total credit of £6,584 9s sd. • An interim dividend of 3 per cent, tor tjie half-year ended September 50, 1940, was paid, amounting to £9OO, leaving a balance to be dealt with of £5,684 9s sd. Of this balance, the directors recommend that the following appropriations be made: —To a dividend of 4 per cent., making 7 per cent, for the year, £1,200; to be written off the freehold property account, £129; to be written off the office furniture account, £155 2s sd; balance to be carried forward, subject io income, social and national security taxes for the year just ended, £4,200 7s. MINING NEWS OKARITO RETURN, The secretaries of the Okarito Five-mile Beach Gold Dredging Company Ltd. report a wash-up of 360 z 9dwt as the result of 179 hours' dredging. PATO CONSOLIDATED. Cabled advice has been received by Placer Development that the directors of Pato Consolidated Gold Dredging Limited have declared a dividend of 12 cents (Canadian) a fully paid share, payable June 25 to shareholders recorded on June 4. The transfer books and registers of members will be closed from June 5 to June 12, both days inclusive.
