MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING

WEST TAIERI CLUB The attendance was good at the weekly shoot of the West Taieri Miniature Rifle Club, at which Miss A. Mann won No. 2 competition, also the competition and handicap badges. The rifle badge was won by J. Dickie, with 78. The following were the scores:—J. Dickie, 78 —2—80; A. Thomson, 76 4 80; J. Low, 75—9—80; M. Aitchison, 75 J. Dohertv, E. Dark, 73—11—80; Miss A. Duff, 73-3—76. RAILWAY CLUB There was a fair attendance at the opening night of the Railway Club, held on the range last week. In the novelty shoot D. Lament and A. Begg wore successful in tho men’s section and Misses N. Chalmers and E. Elder were the prize winners in the women’s competition. Practice scores registered on the range during the past week

Shaw 75, K. Morgan 73. R.S.A. CLUB There was an excellent attendance of members of the R.S.A. Club at the opening shoot of the season held on the Cadbury Fry range.
