n AND DEESiDE WIN TWICE The Beaumont Racing Club’s Annual Meeting was held in fine weather with an occasional shower. The turn in the weather adversely affected the attendance and the scratchings were numerous ou the day. The track was slightly holding and one or two runner’s failed to (handle the conditions. The principal race was won by Noko, who was also successful in the Easter Handicap earlier in the day. He is partowned by his trainer, W. E. Hazlett, who also turned out another winner in AngloFrench, while Erinview and Colonel Rouge, from the same stable, secured two seconds. The trolling events were both won in convincing style by Docsidc. The tolalisator handled £8,570, compared with £12,037 10s last year. Roxburgh Trial Handicap, £110; second 10, third 5.
