STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION

KING EDWARD TECHNICAL COLLEGE At the annual meeting of the King Edward Technical College Students’ Association there was a good attendance of members. . Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, which disclosed a satisfactory credit balance the president (Mr L. D. MTver) said that although the association has been through a difficult year, it was pleasing to note that the membership was on the increase, which reflected credit on the active office-bearers. Four social functions were held during the year, the success of which augured well for the future activities of the association..

The report and balance sheet were adopted. After a general discussion on matters affecting the welfare of the association, the following office-bearers were elected : President. Mr W. A. Nelson ; immediate past president, Mr L. D. M'lvcr ; vicepresident, Mr 11. Baughen; secretary Mr. 15. L. Hope; treasurer, Mr A. S. Baxter : committee—Misses E. Chadwick. W. Tate. M. Shrimpton. Messrs K. Hope, E. P. Groves, and H. C. Burt; hou. auditor, Mr E. Stratton.
