ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
BROKEN FINGER. A fitter working at Hillside, Herbert Gillies, had his finger broken when it was hit by a 14lb hammer. He was admitted to hospital at 11.30 this mornCYCLIST INJURED. While riding a bicycle in Claremont street last. evening, Robert Wardrop, aged 19, who resides at 712 High street, collided with a motor car, and was thrown heavily. He received a compound fracture of the right leg, and was admitted to hospital at 7 o’clock.
