TOWN HALL DANCE

On Saturday night the 1940 Otago junior ballroom dancing championship will be held at the Town Hall dance. The competition will be judged by public vote. Two halls and two bands will again be used. Mat Delaney’s Radio Rhythmics, Jimmie M’Farlane and Arthur Waller will supply the music in the Main Town Hall for the modern- dancing and Wright’s Rhythm Band, featuring a singing guitar, for the old-time dancing.
