The resolution went on to state that the meeting considered any action at the present time which would result in the spending of overseas credits that could’ be used for the purchasing of war materials was a direct violation of tha spirit.of the “All in” war policy to defeat Fascism; and further, it was decided to ask the Dunedin City Council to reconsider this question in tha light of the many sacrifices being mada by the workers, both at home and overseas.
