GOOD TEMPLARY

There was a good attendance at this week’s meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, the Chief Templar (Sister Mrs M. McDonald) presiding. One friend was initiated, and a former member readmitted to membership. Reports submitted by '* e officers showed that considerable work had been carried out during the past quarter. There had been an increase in membership, mostly by the return of former members to the lodge, and the financial position of the lodge was good. Tho officers for the new quarter were installed by the lodge deputy (Sister A. Stcedman), and a vote of thanks was accorded to the retiring officers. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple met the same evening, all officers being nrcsent. and a fine of members. Three candidaf.cs were initiated, and an interesting programme was supplied by members.
