BASIC WAGE FOR MARRIED MEN INCREASED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 7. The basic wage for married men in tlie Civil Service is increased under the Public Service H enumeration Order, Amendment No. 2, which was gazetted to-night. Hitherto, the stipulated basic wage for married civil servants was £2lO Ss Id, and this has been increased under the regulation to £230 8s Id per cmo"v These regulations will affect very few public servants, because most ot them receive above the basic wage.
