Daily Intercession

The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the sold that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that he bear thk yoke in his youth.—(Lamentations Hi.; 25-27 J Eternal God, we thank Thee for the youth of our generation, who, at the call of need, have shown that they are capable of self-sacrifice and devotion to duty. In the air, at sea, and on land they bear witness to the fact that there are greater things at stake than life itself. Grant that the tragedy of war may purify the soul of our nation and of all mankind, that the youth of our day may not bear the yoke in vain.
