TOWN HALL DANCE

Owing to the popularity of the arrangement of using two halls and two bands—one old-time, the other modern—-the management of the Town Hall dance has decided to continue with this policy. Music for the modern dancing will be supplied by Mat Delaney’s Radio Rhythmics, with two vocalists (Arthur Waller and Jimmy MacFarlane), while the old-time music will be played by Wright’s Rhythm Band. Mr “ Spud ” Murphy will be the M.C. for the old-time dance. The three teams selected for this week’s maypole dance competition are: Cadbury Fry Hudson, Ross and Glendining, and Dominion Manufacturing Company’s No. 2 team. The competitors in the lady vocalist contest this week are Miss Ann Loring and Miss K. Hankins. Spectators will be admitted to the circle.
