OTAGO CLUB Tho second qualifying round for the club championship and B grade Challenge Bowl was played yesterday, the following qualifying in this order:—A grade: Mrs Dodgshun, Mrs Lawless, Miss Shand, Miss Meek, Miss Haggitt, Mrs M’Carthy, Mrs Speakman, Miss Dodgshun, Miss M’Hutcheson, Miss Brewer, Mrs Gibson, Miss Elliott. Mrs CalTm, Mrs Stirling, Mrs Irvine, Mrs M’Creary. B grade: Miss North, Mrs Blair, Mrs Breeze,. Mrs Clark, Mrs Russell, Mrs Sime, Miss Jones, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs M’Dougall, Mrs A. Smellie, Mrs Sykes, Mrs Greenfield, Miss M'Carthy, Mrs H. Walker, Mrs Sparrow, Mrs Morrison. The best not scores for the two qualifying rounds were Miss Haggitt in the A grade, with 155, and Mrs Russell in the B grade, with 151. The L.G.U. match was won by Miss Meek, 84—11 —73, in the A grade, and by Mrs Russell, 100—26—74, in the B grade. CHISHOLM PARK CLUB At tho annual meeting of the ladies’ midweek section the club captain (Mrs W. T. Grant) presided. The following officers were elected: —Club captain, Mrs A. C. Anderson, secretary, Mrs N. H.. Shepherd; committee—Mesdames G. Burns (deputy captain), L. Wood, W. Grant, and G. Mora. A social hour followed, and trophies won during the season were presented.
