AIR FORCE QUEEN

COMMITTEE S THANKS TO SUPPORTERS PART PLAYED BY COUNTRY CHILDREN To all committee workers and others whose enthusiastic support contributed so signally to the success of the recent appeal the Air Force Queen Co-ordinat-ing Committee extends its thanks. Appreciation is also recorded of the service of artists, community sing leaders, and others who helped so generously with the many entertainments organised, as well as of those, who provided free transport and hospitality. Special thanks arc addressed to country school children who forwarded eggs in large numbers for the Air Fore® Queen produce stall, while others who assisted by sending in cakes, produce, etc., are also thanked. The winners in the Air Force Queen raffles for a clock set in New Zealand woods, a gold satin cushion, and » dressed doll, are advertised elsewhere in this issue. It is interesting to note that the winning ticket in the clock raffle was purchased from Miss Mary Pratt at the Tahuna Park gymkhana, on Saturday.
