FATAL KNIFE WOUND
INQUEST ADJOURNED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 4. Tlio inquest on Francis Norman Lanrentim: was opened this afternoon before the coroner, Air W. G. L. Alellish. After evidence of identification had been given by Hira Rob-. Roy .Avery, who, with his wife and child, occupies a flat at 2(53 Willis street, on the same floor as tho Laurentines, the inquest was adjourned sine die. Detective-ser-geant W. M'Lonnau represented tho police, and Dr 0. C. Mazengarb appeared for the widow. Jn a report published Airs Laurentino was described as being of partly Alaori blood. This was incorrect. She lias no Alaori blood whatever. [After an alleged attack by his wife. Francis Norman Laurentino, a waterside worker, about .'l7 years of age, was taken to hospital on Saturday night with severe knife wounds in his left groin and hack. He was admitted at 7.50. but had Inst so much blood that, despite a blood transfusion, he died at 8.30.]
