APPRECIATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l wish to bring to the notice of the Dunedin public the service rendered many homes by the St. John Ambulance Association. I refer in particular to Nurse Mitchell, who was employed by the above association for many years. Nurse Mitchell has endeared herself to the hearts of many, and the qargo number of patients whom she has attended will regret that no longer will they have the services of this nurse. Quietly confident under all circumstances, efficient in all that she did, and possessed of an amazing degree of tact, Nurse Mitchell, who was employed by the above asservice, and those who worked with her must have been inspired by her untiring energy and example.—l am, etc., Leslie T. Welsh, November 4.
