WILL PARADE TO-MORROW

SOUTHLAND REGIMENT SALUTE TAOI AT KTABM The Fifth Battalion. Southland Regiment, will parade through the city to-morrow afternoon. The troops, qa leaving camp at Forbury Park, will march via Victoria road, Prince Albert road, King Edward street, and Princes street south to the Oval, vhere a shore spell of 10 minutes will be taken before resuming the march to the Octagon, where the salute will be taken by Major J. G. Jeffery, with whom will be the mayor (Mr A. H. Allen). The troops will continue on along George street to St. Andrew street, thence to Cumberland street, returning to camp via Anderson’s Bay road and Queen’s Drive. They will b© accompanied by their own battalion band and by the Band of the Third Field Regiment, New Zealand Artillery. All northbound traffic will be stopped between 3.8 p.m. and 3.15 p.m., so that the proceedings at the saluting point will not he interfered with.'
