OTAGO HUNT CLUB The racing season will he opened at Wingatui on Saturdav, when the Annual Meeting of the Otago Hunt Club will be held After a spell ot two months, local enthusiasts should find the bill of fare on Saturday* to their liking This meeting, too. should throw light on the later spring meetings to be decided in Otago and further north. There is quite a number of horses in most of the events. The Tally-ho Handicap should call for some working out, while the betting should be widely spread ou one or two of the other events on the card. Three special trains have been arranged for the transport or patrons, while a limited bus service will also run from Cargill’s Monument. The first race is timed to start at Members of TI.M. Special Force (in uniform) will be admitted irce at the main gate only.
