THE 5 PER CENT. INCREASE
EXCLUSION OF HOSPITAL INSTITUTIONS SOUGHT (Teh United Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, August 26. A decision to .appeal against the judgment of the Arbitration Court with a view to having hospital institutions excluded from the order raising award wages by 5 per cent, was made tonight by the Auckland Hospital Board. The chairman (Mr Allan J. Moody) said there were superior courts to the Arbitration Court, and if it was felt that an injustice had been done every constitutional method should be adopted to have it rectified. It was decided to ask the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Association to appeal against the order as it affected the board. ■ ■
