Wellington and North Island districts and all northern offices: Monday, 7 a.m.; Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30 a.m. Parcels, 9.30 a.m. Oamaru, Timaru, Christchurch, and West Coast: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7 a.m.; Tuesday to Friday, 10.30 a.m.; Monday to Friday, 7 p.m.; Sunday, 10 p.m. Oamaru only; Daily, 2.45 p.m. South Otago and Invercargill districts: Daily, 6 a.m., 3.30 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. Invercargill and Gore: Saturday, 8 p.m. Central Otago: Daily, 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. MONDAY, AUGUST 19. MONDAY. AUGUST 26. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28. Empire air mail, including Australia and foreign countries served en route, but not beyond Egypt. Per air liner, from Auckland, at midnight. TUESDAY, AUGUST 20. Australian States, at 9 a.m. (Parcels close at 8 a.m. Surface transport.) WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21. Australian States, at 1 p.m. (Parcels close at 11 a.m. Surface transport.) WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28. Canton Island, Honolulu, United States of America, Canada, and United Kingdom., Per air liner, from Auckland, at midnight. Overseas mails are despatched as opportunity offers. AIR MAILS. The Chief Postm'aster advises that, commencing on Tuesday next, air .mails will closer for northern offices daily, Tuesday to Saturday, at 7 a.m, (both days inclusive). The Wednesday and Friday despatches to Auckland will be carried by air only as far as Palmerston North, and thence by the Main Trunk express to destination in time for the early delivery on Thursday and Saturday. Inwards, additional air mails will reach Dunedin on Tuesdays and Thursdays shortly after 1 p.m. N. R. M'lsaac, , Chief Postmaster.
