LYNCHING
In 1768 an organisation known as the “ Regulators ” was founded at Lynch’s Crook in South Carolina. The group mot to cany out thoir own ideas of the administration of criminal justice, and this home-made variety of law enforcement later took the name of lynching.—‘ Parade,’ London.
