BOXING

STRICKLAND AND RICHARDS .NEW ZEALANDER SEEKS BOUT - SYDNEY, March 15. ■ Stadiums Ltd. to-day received a cablegram from Maurice Strickland seeking a bout for the Australian and New Zealand heavy-weight title with Ron Eichards. It is understood that the New Zealand Centennial Committee is anxious that the bout should be held in Wellington in the open air in April. Stadiums Ltd. is giving the question consideration.
