EIGHT INDOOR RECORDS DARTMOUTH COLLEGE GAMES HANOVER (New Hampshire), March 14. At the Dartmouth College’s annual invitation games eight new indoor world records were set, including Woodruff’s Irnin 47.75ec for the half-mile, which is also under the outdoor mark. Other records were set as follows: Dartmouth team, 3min 16sec for the mile relay, also breaking the 1,000 metros record; Woodruff, luiin 47sec for 800 metres; Jim Herbert (New
York University), negro, 48.45e0 for the quarter-mile, 47.9 sec for 400 metres; John Borican (New York University), negro, 3min I.2sec for three-quarters of a mile; New York University team, Imin 27.75ec for the half-mile relay.
