Hanan, registered 59 l-ssec, breaking his own New Zealand record by 1 3-ssec. He covered 100 yards in the same race in 53 4-oseo, bettering N. Crump’s record by one-fifth of a second. Application will be made for the recognition of both of Hanan’s times as records. The 50yds ladies’ Auckland championship was won by inches by Miss D. Dunford in 31sec. Miss N. Griffin was second and Miss R. Stackpole third.
