PROVISION OF FUNDS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 22. For the purpose of providing funda to enable the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board to carry out its functions a regulation provides that the board is to be paid in each financial year out of moneys in any appropriate account established in the Reserve Bank in connection with the purchase of meat a sum not exceeding £30,000 as the Minister of Marketing may approve. SUSPENSION OF LEVY. The operation of a section of the Meat Export Control Act, 1921-22, relating to the charge by way of levy on all meat exported from New Zealand i» suspended by a regulation issued in tonight’s ‘ Gazette.’
