Cross representative in London. The cablegram reads: “ The Finnish Red Cross gratefully acknowledges receipt of the 5,000 New Zealand pounds so generously given by the New Zealand Government towards the cost Red Cross work in Finland. Inis donation has been handed to us by the High Commissioner, Mr W. J. Jordan. We are sending an official receipt to him. This cablegram is expressing the gratitude of the Finnish Government, the Finnish people, and the Finnish Red Cross to the Government of New Zealand.”
