STRONG DEMAND THIS MORNING WEST COAST GOLD DREDGING ADVANCE The steady demand for most classes of New Zealand investments continues on the Dunedin Stock Exchange, and several increases have been recorded. In. the banking section, quotations tor National Banks have undergone a steady improvement in buying quotations without any sellers coming forThe. woollen market is still very firm, and’buyers of Moegiels advanced their quotations to £lO this morning,.. representing ill© best buying quote for some time, - Broken Hill Proprietaries have likewise risen steadily to £2 13s 6d, with a seller this morning at £2 14s 3d. Donaghy’s Rope made a steep advance on'yesterday’s quotation. Most local industries are experiencing the same good demand. For National Electrics buying quotations rose to 15s 9d. There was a seller yesterday afternoon, at 16s 3d. A sale of New Zealand Paper Mills was reported this morning at £1 9s, and at the callover a buyer came in at the same figure, without, however,, evoking any response. __ • Brewery shares, and the Australian metal market, are both very steady on late quotations.
