ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
HAND CAUGHT IN MACHINE. Iris Hodgkins, a single woman, living at 4 Speight’s Terrace, was admitted to the Hospital at 2.45 p.m. yesterday with a lacerated hand. It had been caught in a machine at the Roelyu Woollen Mills. FOUND DEAD. Frank Griffiths, an elderly single man, was found dead in bed at Patearoa yesterday. Ho had been attended by a doctor for some time, and an jnguest will not be necessary
