GAVERSHAKT CLUB—TWO RECORDS BROKEN A strong wind made conditions unpleasant at the Caledonian Ground last evening, when the Caversham Harrier Club’s annual track and field! championships were concluded. Club records were improved in two events — R. F. Morrison registering 55 3-sseo for the 440yds (junior) and R. Emmerson recording 29seo in the 220yds hurdles—while the 100yds record, 10 4-6seo, was equalled by A. Jones. The Beatson Cup (for most points ia senior events) was won by R. Emmerson, J. Strathern, being second and G. R. Colston third. Emmerson also won the Milton Cup (for most points in throwing events), L. K. Donovan being second. ■ The Donovan Cup (for most points in distance- events) was won by Colston, A. J. Barr being second! and Emmerson third. The Gerrie Cup (for most points in junior events) produced keen competition, and resulted in a tie between R. F. Morrison and E. J. Flockton with two wins and two seconds each.
