RACING IN AUSTRALIA
AJAX AND HIGH CASTE TO MEET MELBOURNE, February 8. The Williamstown races on Saturday will be noteworthy owing to the meeting of Ajax and High Caste in the C. F. Orr Stakes, £I,OOO. seven furlongs, and there is speculation as to whether the Vitcorian champion, whose health is now reported tc> be good, will triumph over the former New Zealander. The acceptors for the race are: Ajax 9.5, Manrico 8.13, Adios. Maikai 85, High Caste 8.2, Landlaw 8.0, Reading 7.13, Amiable 7.10, Kanuri 7.9, Magic Circle 7.8, The Albatross 7.3, French Legion 7.0. .
