P.CiR. Sister M. Coomer presided over the last meeting of Court Saint Andrews, A.0.F., when there was a good attendance of officers and members. Invitations were received from Court Pride of Gore and the Excelsior for their anniversary meetings. Two new members were initiated into the court, and one proposition was accepted for next meeting. Several badminton doubles competitions have been held recently, and the following were winners :—Bro. M. Harrison and P. M'Kay, E. Baines and D. M'Kay, and Sister P. Johnson and Bro. F. Brixton. A social committee meeting will be held next Tuesday to arrange for the anniversary meeting, and it is hoped to hold a dance after the meeting. At last meeting the auditors gave a report on the annual report and balance sheet, and congratulated the court on its present financial position in the various funds. Despite the present conditions, the court still shows an increase in membership. Several members are now away on active service, and the court is safeguarding their interests.
