MAYFAIR
That popular film family, the Hardys, have pride of place on the:programme at the Mayfair. They are to he seen in ‘Out West With the Hardys.’ Mickey Rooney seems to be in ms screen element in the boisterous role of the irrepressible Aridy. Being out west ” is Andy’s idea of being alive, but he finds that there are difficulties to be overcome even in the wilds. Lewis Stone gives another sober characterisation as the kindly and wise judge. In support is ‘ Society Smugglers/ an_expose of a “ racket ” new to New Zealand filmgoers.
