MANY CHARGES AGAINST ELDERLY WDMAN 1,000 ARTICLES ALLEGED STOLEN (Per United Press Association. I AUCKLAND, November 13. When Adelia O’Hanlon (57) was charged in the Police Court with stealing a carton of honey valued at lOd 'from a grocery store, Detective-sergeant Walsh said there wore many other charges to be brought against her. Over 1 000 articles, which were alleged to have been stolen from stores, had been sorted out in the police gymnasium, and he suggested that, provided no objections were made, the charge be heard there. The police requested a remand until Tuesday next. Mr Ackins, appearing for O Hanlon, agreed to both requests. The magistrate. Mr Morlmg, consented to renewal of her bail.
