OIL EXPLORATION LONDON GEOLOGIST ARRIVES [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 24. Appointed to the staff of geologists associated with the New Zealand^ Qjl Exploration Company, Mr J. B. Han-son-Lowe, of London, arrived by the Rangitane. Mr Hanson-Lowe expects to do much work in connection with neologies! survey, but is ■ not aware where he will be stationed or how long his appointment will last, nor could he discuss the prospects of oil production in New Zealand. In recent years Mr Hanson-Lowe has accomplished much in China and Eastern Tibet, collecting data, and he has written on -his work in technical | journals.
