WARWICK FARM MEETING SYDNEY, August 24. The acceptances for the Warwick Stakes, £6OO, seven furlongs, on Saturday are; —Royal Chief, Gold Rod, St. Constant 9.3, Defaulter 9.0, Sodunum, Early Bird 8.9, Brazant 8.7, Feminist 8.4, Dagniar 8.0. In the Warwick Farm Spring Handicap, £6OO, one mile three furlongs, there are 11 acceptors the top weight being Buzalong 9.1, while Peerless has 8.11. . _ ' The Carapbelltown Handicap, £SOO. six furlongs, has 14 acceptors, the top weight being Brazant 9.3. Royal Prince has 9.0, Malagigi 8.7, Te Hero 8.6, Adios 8.5. The Hobartvllle Stakes, £750, seven furlongs, has 16 acceptors. These include Bonny Loch, Dashing Cavalier, Penthides, High Caste, Reading, Beau Repaire, and Beauvite. The Glenlee Handicap, £250, one mile, has 11 acceptors, who include Pearl of Asia 8.4. M'Carten will probably ride Beau Repaire in the Hobartvillo Stakes and Ellis will ride Beauvite. The leading three-year-olds—Bonny Loch, Reading, and High Caste—are expected to provide the titbit of the meeting. Sparkling six-furlong gallops were recorded at Randwick to-day by Gold Rod, Adios, Beauvite, and Pearl of Asia. Royal Prince, Te Hero, The Squire, anil Peerless also worked satisfactorily. Beauvite, whose work this week has been most attractive, to-day equalled Gold Rod’s six furlong track record of Imin 17isec. Royal Chief looked well after a gallop over six furlongs covered in Imin 18sec. Peerless beat the three-year-old Mareno over seven furlongs in Imin 30sec. Defaulter, ridden by A. E. Ellis, completed a strong seven furlongs brilliantly in Imin 36sec.
