THEFT OF UNION FUNDS [Peb United Press Association.) TIMARU, July 21. On a charge of the theft of £l6l, the property of the Timaru Waterside Workers’ "Union, Charles Hansen Budge was admitted to probation for two years by Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supreme Court to-day, and was ordered to make restitution of the money at the direction of the probation officer.
