TOKIO TALKS. TOKIO, July 21.—The Dome! Agency says well-informed circles believe that the crisis has passed as a result of to-day’s meeting.

BOY FATALLY SHOT. Eric Hawkins, aged about 16 years, was fatally shot in an amusement parlour in Victoria Avenue this afternoon. With a mate named Matthews he was handling a rifle near the shooting gallery, when it accidentally discharged, the bullet entering Hawkins’s right chest. He died on his way to the Wanganui Hospital.—Press Association.
