Next week’s demonstration will be held in a new district for these functions, in Mr Jameson’s garden, 32 Playfair street, Caversham. The tram stop is at Playfair street, and the garden is only a few minutes’ walk from it. This garden contains several varieties of fruit trees, which are in very good condition. Tae cordon system will be explained!, and if the climatic conditions permit, the cultivation of various fruits will be explained. .1 hope to see a large number who are interested in the cultivation of fruit at this demonstration.
Last week’s demonstration was held, notwithstanding the unfavourable weather, in the garden of Mr Dick, Gladstone road, Dalmore. The attendance was very good. Enthusiasts came from as far away as Cavorsham, Owing to the trees being very old, w«fy little time was spent on them. Instead, the cordon system of training was explained, which created a very deep impression on those present. Thanks were expressed to Mr Dick and the demonstrator for providing such an interesting afternoon.
